One of the key advantages offered by MyScript® Handwriting Keyboard is its offline functionality. This means that you can conveniently utilize the keyboard without the need for an internet connection. Gone are the days of relying on a stable internet connection to use or activate this keyboard.

Furthermore, if you're a user of the Apple Pencil, worry not. MyScript® Handwriting Keyboard is fully compatible with the Apple Pencil, providing an enhanced experience for those with compatible devices.

How to Use:

1. Step 1: Install the Handwriting Keyboard (U.S. English or Japanese) from the "Keyboard" section in your device's "Settings" app. Follow these steps:
   1. Open the Settings app.
   2. Navigate to the Handwriting (This app's settings section).
   3. Select "Keyboards".
   4. Turn on "English (US)".
   Alternatively,
   1. Open the Settings app.
   2. Go to General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboards...
   3. Select "Handwriting".
   4. Turn on "English (US)".
2. Step 2: When inputting text, such as writing a mail message, simply long-press the "Globe Button" on the keyboard to switch to the Handwriting Keyboard.

Please note that when inputting passwords, the iOS keyboard will automatically switch to the default keyboard.

The Handwriting Keyboard also offers a range of customizable functionalities that can be accessed by tapping the gear button on the keyboard. These include:

• Auto-enter after a customizable delay
• Choose input area size from three options
• Select enter button location from three choices
• 2-finger scroll or 2-finger cursor move gesture support
• Apple Pencil support with finger touch rejection
• Option to disable inline inputting for specific apps like "Slack"
• Choose from three line widths and four background colors
• Supports Text Replacement functionality
• Compatible with iOS13's dark mode and floating keyboard

This app supports two languages:

• English (U.S.)
• Japanese (including hiragana to kanji conversion)

It's important to note that this app does not recognize languages other than U.S. English and Japanese. Unfortunately, UK English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, French, and Korean are not supported by this keyboard.
